Dissemination Activities

The dissemination strategy for TRANSFoodMERS – Responsible Food System | Youth Game Challenge is designed to ensure maximum visibility, engagement, and long-term impact by leveraging diverse communication channels and stakeholder involvement. The project aims to raise awareness about sustainable food consumption and production, promote game-based learning (GBL), and encourage youth participation in climate action initiatives. Through strategic outreach efforts, the project will effectively engage youth workers, educators, policymakers, and the broader public.

A variety of communication materials will be developed to promote the project’s identity and objectives. These will include a project logo, leaflets, posters, and infographics, all incorporating the Erasmus+ branding guidelines. These materials will be used in workshops, training events, partner meetings, and community outreach programs to enhance recognition and accessibility.

A dedicated project website will serve as the central hub for information dissemination, providing insights into the project’s objectives, activities, and resources. The website will feature interactive educational content, training toolkits, and game-based learning materials, making them freely accessible to youth workers, educators, and sustainability advocates. In line with inclusivity and accessibility standards (WCAG 2.0), the website will ensure usability for individuals with disabilities. To support long-term impact, the website will remain available for at least five years post-project completion.

Social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Twitter will be used to actively engage with target audiences, share updates, and facilitate discussions on food sustainability and youth engagement. Regular posts will highlight project milestones, upcoming events, educational content, and testimonials from participants, fostering an interactive digital community. The project will also leverage eTwinning and other online learning platforms to organize virtual meetings, interactive workshops, and collaborative knowledge-sharing sessions.

To further disseminate the project’s findings, partner organizations—including research institutions and NGOs—will publish news articles, research briefs, and short reports on the project’s outcomes and methodologies. These publications will be distributed through partner websites, academic networks, and sustainability-focused media channels. Additionally, the project aims to publish at least one research paper in an academic journal or conference, contributing to the academic discourse on game-based learning and sustainability education.

The project will also conduct training workshops and presentations to introduce TRANSFoodMERS educational tools and methodologies to youth workers, educators, and policymakers. These sessions will provide hands-on training on game-based learning strategies for sustainable food education, equipping participants with the skills and knowledge to implement these tools in their respective communities.

The dissemination strategy will culminate in a final event, bringing together project partners, youth participants, educators, policymakers, and sustainability advocates. This event will serve as a platform to present key findings, share best practices, and demonstrate the TRANSFoodMERS educational games. Discussions will focus on policy recommendations, future collaborations, and strategies for sustaining the project’s impact beyond its official duration.

Through this structured dissemination approach, TRANSFoodMERS will ensure that its resources, insights, and game-based learning tools reach a wide audience, fostering behavioral change in youth and contributing to a more sustainable food system. By integrating innovative educational methods with strategic outreach efforts, the project aims to create a lasting impact on sustainability education and youth engagement.
